The S3™ Bio Sampler is designed to collect biological samples from potentially contaminated surfaces onto a moistened sponge for field or laboratory analysis. Sponges used for sampling have the advantage of not contributing to contamination of the sample. A sponge is used because it is nondestructive, rapid, reproducible and inexpensive to use. The kit is a portable and disposable sampling system that will permit inspectors and forensic evidence specialists to collect biological contaminants from wet or dry surfaces. Liquid samples can also be collected and filtered using this kit. This kit is easy to use and takes approximately five minutes to obtain a sample. The S3™ Bio Sampler can collect bacteria, viruses and toxins for later analysis and archiving. Individual kits are traceable to lot numbers of components. The kit is sterilized by Cobalt 60 irradiation at an ISO accredited facility. The sterility of each lot is also verified by random sterility testing.Kit Compontent: - Filter Bag
